Indian Renewable Q1 net profit up 30.37% at Rs 294.58 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 294.58 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 225.96 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 30.37 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 47.29 per cent at Rs 1,130.87 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 767.81 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 669.56 per cent to Rs -65.67 crore from Rs 11.53 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 16.00 per cent at Rs 0.29 crore versus (Jun'22 Rs 0.25 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 56.10 per cent to Rs 1,208.87 crore as against Rs 774.41 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 5.99 per cent in June quarter.
Interest grew by 78.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 763.74 crore, while Taxation increased by 27.28 per cent at Rs 144.96 crore (Jun'22 Rs 113.89 crore).
